Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Hotel Park in Gifu, I was captivated by the harmonious blend of traditional and modern comforts. The air-conditioned room boasted a private bathroom with thoughtful amenities, allowing us to unwind after a day of exploring. The highlight, of course, was the exquisite hot spring baths, both indoor and outdoor, where we soaked in the stunning views while the sun dipped below the horizon – an experience that truly resonated with my love for nature and tranquility. The culinary offerings at the hotel were an absolute delight. We indulged in a bountiful breakfast buffet featuring an impressive array of both Japanese and Western dishes, followed by two sumptuous multi-course dinners expertly served in our room. It felt like a special gathering that catered to every taste, leaving us pleasantly stuffed and warmly satiated. One standout aspect of our visit was the hotel's attentive customer service, which I felt matched the warmth of the Irish hospitality I cherish. Each staff member was keen to ensure our comfort, making us feel genuinely welcomed and appreciated as we navigated this beautiful historical region. With its prime location along the Nagara River and proximity to the enchanting sights of Gifu, I felt perfectly placed to explore the local charm as well as indulge in leisurely activities. Hotel Park will undoubtedly remain a cherished memory from my journey, and I eagerly await my next adventure there.
